Some resurgence of late for Stoke who find themselves becoming harder to beat as Mark Hughes gets to grips with the Potteries men.  Stoke sit in 12^th in the League with 5 wins, 7 draws and 8 defeats. Recent form has seen 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. Stoke are finding scoring tough so they are struggling to covert chances, drawing a lot of games.  Rob Huth is still out while Matthew Etherington is doubtful. Leicester are flying high at the top of the England Championship. With a record of 16 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats they hold a 4 point lead at the summit. With a host of players with Premiership experience they could do well in the top flight.

The key to the early round of the cups is to gauge the mindsets of the managers and clubs. Do the teams need extra games? Is the manager the type to want to exit the cup quickly? For me this game is very tough indeed. Hughes of Stoke normally wants a run in the cup so I have to take Stoke seriously. Leicester on the other hand are going for automatic promotion a league that has many games already. I don’t think this is a priority and stake Stoke to win this match. Odds are huge here on the Premiership side so good value for me.
