A real close game this one and I see a possible upset with West Brom being the selection for me. Baggies go into this one with just 1 loss in 8 games (4 wins and 3 draws) as Pulis stamps his mark on the team. West Brom have a clean bill of health which is a bonus, and the disciplinary actions over Berahino seem to have been sorted out. West Ham are slowly sliding down the table and the optimism seems to have evaporated. Just 2 wins in 11 matches for The Hammers who seem to be unable to shake off the draws. In that 11 game run they had 6 draws and 3 defeats. Missing for them here will be forward Carroll plus key central defenders Reid and Collins. Diego Poyet is unavailable while Nolan and Noble will be assessed on the day.
I think West Brom could be a team to follow over the coming weeks as Pulis has definatley galvanized them. West Ham are in poor form and I feel that they could rotate a bit here. Sam Allardyce is not usually a fan of the cups and I am always dubious of his intentions.
