Might seem crazy to be tipping on Aston Villa to win any match but I feel against this opposition they will be able to record a 1st win in a long time. Wycombe are in 6th in England League 2 (4th tier) 12 points behind leaders Plymouth. Recent form shows 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Matt Ingram will miss the game due to suspension and being the 1st choice keeper means they will have to start with young back up Alex Lynch. Indeed they have no have no sub keeper so 46 year old keeping coach Barry Richardson takes a spot on the bench. Villa are bottom of the Premiership with 8 points from 20 games. They are pretty much doomed now so they may as well play for some pride and try to get some playing confidence. Villa have not won in 15 games and you have to go back to September and Capital One Cup for a win over Birmingham. For this one Remi Garde has no new injury worries and they will play a 1st choice side. A side that should be good enough to see off Wycombe for sure.
I take Villa to finally win a game at decent odds. Villa have a side of players more than good enough to beat a team three divisions below them. A win and some confidence to take into the next round of EPL fictures.
