The Blackpool Circus rolls to town and this time it’s the turn of Colchester. The home side only just avoided relegation last year but they showed some nouse to get clear of the dropzone having looked doomed at one point. Darren Ambrose joins the side and is a good addition having dropped down a division. Blackpool have a very inexperienced squad, with half the players not having played more than 10 games! John Herron is the only player to miss out here in what is a new look Blackpool side. They have a decent coach in Neil McDonald but I have a horrible feeling they will be near the relegation places again as the same financial restraints will effect them.
Blackpool to continue with the long losing habit they had last season. I take the -0.25 handicap which means we get paid on a win, a draw sees half stakes returned.
