I take defeat better than most but what I always do is to see just how my selections were beaten. Last week I took Sheffield United to beat Gillingham. A bet that looked solid on day 1, others agreed and the price dropped on Sheffield. However no-one told Gillingham or Justin Edinburgh. The Gills pulverised Sheffield United in all areas and fully deserved a 4-0 win. Many people took note and Gillingham were a major plus for me and one to watch in the upcoming weeks. I was hugely surprised to see oddsmakers not react much to this game. Port Vale drew 0-0 against Crewe last week and are one of the favourites for the drop. Chris Neal, Michael O'Connor and Remy Streete are all out here.. Gillingham lead by Justin Edinburgh finished in 12^th with 62 points last season. They are expected to still be without captain Doug Loft and striker Cody McDonald here too. He didn’t need them much last week and  its interesting that with those two added Gillingham could be a real force in League 1 this season.
