ROTHERHAM v PRESTON: HALFTIME BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

The 1^st leg saw one of the goals of the season in Joe Garners acrobatic volley from 25 metres. It was a goal that in truth rescued Preston from defeat at Deepdale.  Preston were unusually flat and seemed very nervous. Rotherham pressed but without giving much space away. This game is very evenly matched now but Preston do seem better suited to away games.  Rotherham finished the season in 4^th with 86 points, just 1 point above Preston. Rotherham were solid at home with 10 wins, 10 draws and 3 defeats while Preston were decent away with 11 wins, 7 draws and 5 defeats. Neither side are in top form with Rotherham having 2 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats while Preston showing 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

The 1^st leg seemed a very nervous encounter indeed with neither side really taking control. Both sides know this is the business end of the season and both are just 90 minutes away from Wembley and a place in the final. I think this game has draw written all over it and I keen to get with a stalemate in most markets. The 1^st 45 minutes will be tense too I feel and again I side with the draw. Three matches so far between these two sides and three draws.
