Swindon go into this game in a bit of a quandary.  They are seemingly out of the automatic promotion chase having fell 7 points behind the pace with 4 games left.  They hold a 7 point lead over Sheffield United in 5^th so seem safe in 4^th spot.  I feel this could be a perfect time to rest players up for the playoffs. Given that they cant realistically move up or down there is little point for me for the players running themselves into the ground. Squad rotation looks the order of the next couple of games. Swindon’s general form had dipped also with 3 wins and 3 losses in last 6. The recent game was a very poor 1-0 home loss to rock bottom Yeovil. They are without suspended Raphael Branco while star man Massimo Luongo will be rested. Walsall have improved over the last few months and have really tightened up. They are in 15^th after an unbeaten run of 5 games that saw just 1 goal conceded! They won 2 and drew 3 of last 4. In the last few months they have had a very tough run, playing almost all the top teams. Draws with MK Dons and Preston plus losing narrowly to league winners Bristol show their quality. They have no new injuries either here.

With a 0.75 goal start and a new solid outlook Walsall are the bet here against a Swindon side now seemingly eyeing up the playoffs. The decision to rest Luongo shows they feel they cant make 2^nd spot so resting players seems key. I take Walsall here to continue their good run. We get paid on Walsall win or a draw. A 1 goal win for Swindon gets us half stake return.
