ARSENAL V READING PREDICTIONS

Arsenal look to close the gap on rivals Tottenham for the final Champions League spot while Reading are on their last lifeline in the relegation zone.

The fight for a top 4 place in the Premier League is very tight this season with Chelsea in 3^rd place on 55 points down to Everton in 6^th with 48 points.  Arsenal are currently 5^th in the EPL with 50 points from 29 games which leaves them 4 points behind Tottenham in 4^th, but with a game in hand.  They have won 4 of their last 5 in the Premier League and have closed the gap and with an easier run in than Tottenham they will be confident they can overtake them and continue their excellent record of top 4 finishes.

Reading are 19^th in the table with 23 points from 30 games which has them 7 points from safety.  They made a managerial change bringing in Nigel Adkins as a replacement for Brian McDermott but it is likely to be too late for them this year as the gap seems too big to make up.

Arsenal will again be missing Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott will also be out.  Sagna will have a late fitness test but is expected to make it.

Reading are definitely missing Jason Roberts through injury but will be hopeful that Guthrie, Federici and Kebe will all be fit in time.
