Arsenal v Stoke predictions & betting tips

Arsenal is 3-0-1 so far in the Premier League, and has won three on the trot. They’ve also did well in the Champions League this midweek beating Marseille away from home. Oxelade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Cazorla and Diaby have been joined by Rosicky on the sidelines so there is a lot of pressure on the current first eleven to deliver. Arteta might be included in the squad for this game though. If he is fit it is quite likely he will get game time. Arsene Wenger will be worried some of his players will suffer from fatigue.

Since and including 2011 Arsenal has beaten Stoke three out of three times at home, so they’ll be confident they can break down the visitors. Especially with assist maestro Ozil getting warmed up and ready in his Arsenal jersey.

Stoke is 2-1-1 so far in the EPL, and has been better than I thought they’d be so far under Hughes. In their most recent game they held Manchester City at the Brittannia, and could easily have won the game. Stoke has some doubts over midfielder Charlie Adam. Other than that they have no new injury worries to report.

Here they will have yet another defending job to do. All they can hope for is to stay compact, deny Arsenal too much space and see if they can do something on the counter or with their own possession the few minutes they get to have it.

Arsenal has a great squad, but as mentioned there has been a lot of pressure on the first eleven with Premier League matches, and now lastly a tough away match in France.
