Aston Villa have opened the season in  great form. Sitting in 2^nd position with 3 wins and 1 draw with just 1 goal conceded. They have beaten Stoke away and Liverpool away with a win over Hull City too. The only dropped points were a 0-0 with Newcastle at home. Villa are very organized and a fast counter attacking side. Aston Villa are still without striker Benteke and Kozak, plus key defeneder Ron Vlaar . Arsenal are unbeaten too and but have drawn three already – they were stalemates against Everton and Leicester away and Man City at home. The only win came against Palace on opening day. Arsenal are without a host of players here with Wiltshire, Monreal, Debuchy, Walcott and Giroud out. They do however have a very strong squad and all positions are covered.

Villa are obviously suited to counter and that should suit them here. They have only struggled when they have to set the pace of the game and Arsenal should do that. For me though Villa have not faced anyone with the attacking threat of Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez looks like he has been playing for Arsenal all his life and looks very dangerous indeed.  I take an Arsenal win here to end the unbeaten run of Villa. Arsenal have a long unbeaten record at Villa Park and have not lost in 15 visits.
