Aston Villa (5-4-8) have lost their last three , and home form (2-1-5) is poor. Their counter attacking style of play seems better suited to playing away, and the visit of a side like Palace, who will set up defensively, are ones they usually really struggle in. Palace (4-1-12)have won four of their last six, and new boss Pullis certainly knows how to scrap it out. Benteke(str) will be missed for Villa with injury, despite his poor recent form, and Palace have Guediora(mid) and Murray(str) still unavailable.

They seem unable to break sides down at Villa Park, and Palace will certainly offer stubborn opposition here.
