Aston Villa are up and down with Sherwood at the moment. Another date at Wembley and a possible cup win and a place in European competition. Tempered by an outside chance of dropping down a league. Villa are in 16th with 32 points, but hold just a 2 point lead over Sunderland who do have a game in hand. Form is mixed with 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. Ciaran Clark and Nathan Baker are out with Agbonlahor still not ready and the latter is a huge miss. Senderos is available though. Everton are one of the form sides in Premier league at the moment and the 3-0 dismantling of high flying Man Utd confirms this. They are up to 10th in the league after a 6 games unbeaten run (5 wins and 1 draw). Away form for them sees 4 wins, 4 draws and 9 losses. Out for them will be Gibson, Hibbert, Oviedo and Pienaar.
Bookies see this one as a close one and give all the momentum to Villa. A mistake for me and I for sure would have Everton favourites. They are in top form and are back to full strength player wise. The return of key man Baines was the starting point for their good run and its no surprise to me.
