Aston Villa face up to Liverpool at Villa Park. Villa are out of the danger zone but not entirely clear of relegation. They occupy 13^th but are just 3 points clear of 3^rd bottom. Home form for them shows 2 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses. (only Sunderland have won less and no team has scored fewer than Villa’s 7 home goals) – Recent form sees a winless league run of 6 games with 3 draws and 3 losses (with only 2 goals scored)  That run was mainly against lower Prem sides too with only Man Utd faced of any note. Villa miss some key players with defenders Vlaar, Senderos and Clarke all missing from the backline. Liverpool have shown great improvement of late. Still nowhere near last years vintage but good allround play. They are upto 8^th with 32 points after a run of 7 games unbeaten (5 wins and 2 draws) they are 5 wins and 5 losses on the road and only Man City have managed more wins.  Liverpool have Raheem Stirling back after a week off. Glen Johnson is available too. Players unavailable include Toure and Allan. There is a chance Lallana could be fit but hes a doubt at present.

All the current form is with Liverpool here as Villa again struggle big time infront of goal.  Villa Park is a happy hunting ground for the Reds with 5 of the last 7 games won by them. I think the all round improvement of Liverpool plus Villa’s inability to create mean that 10/11 is a backable price. They have a refreshed Sterling ready to go and that spells trouble for the home side.
