Aston Villa is 2-0-3 in the Premier League so far. All things considered one can argue they are on par with expctations. Here Aston Villa will be without star striker Benteke. Fellow attacking player Agbonlahor is likely to be out here too. Central defender Okore will be out for a long time.  Westwood (midfielder) is ruled out too. Several players were rested in midweek for the League cup game, but I expect most of them to be back here.

Manchester City has impressed lately scoring twelve goals in their last three games. In the Premier League they are 3-1-1. Man City might give some minutes to David Silva here as he is close to full fitness again. Stevan Jovetic has had some issues lately too but was brilliant in the second half this midweek. He might get the nod again. Rodwell and Demichelis are both still out though.

I think Aston Villa will have a tough time here. They have some key players out, and Manchester City has been frightening good lately. The only real argument against City would be the hefty match program at the minute. In midweek they have a tough game against Bayern Munich. However, with the squad Pellegrini has at his disposal it is quite likely they can maintain top fitness levels for all their stars rotating, just like they did against Wigan.
