ASTON VILLA V QPR PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

A real relegation 6 pointer sees two of the bottom 4 take the field in a game which will be very important to the sides if they want to escape relegation this year.

Aston Villa are currently 17^th with 27 points from 29 matches which leaves them 3 points clear of the relegation zone.  They have improved their performances in recent weeks and 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats in their last 5 is an excellent return considering they have played Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City during that run.  A win here could potentially take them 6 points clear of the drop which would give them some breathing space so it’s a hugely important game.

QPR are still bottom of the league with 23 points from 29 matches but are right back in the hunt after two straight league wins.  They have had a run of games that they have targeted to take points from and 6 points from the first two is more than they would have expected and if they can keep the winning run going here then they’ll be looking good to get safe.

Villa are really struggling with injuries still with Bent, Albrighton, Gardner, Petrov and Dunne all still missing through injury, while Fabian Delph is suspended for another match after picking up 6 bookings.  QPR should have a number of players back for this one with Taarabt, Cesar and Traore all expected to be fit.
