ASTON VILLA v STOKE: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS
Hardly the game of the weekend in the Premier League but one that could offer us some returns. Villa are in good form and recent wins over league leaders Chelsea and Norwich have came at the perfect time. Villa are in 10th and have a 9 point buffer between the drop zone. Home form is ok with 5 wins, 2 draws and 8 defeats. Recent sees 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses.. Out for Villa here is only Kozak. Stoke are decent form themselves and have pushed themselves away from the bottom three. Overall they are in 11th, just below the hosts on goal difference. Away from is terrible though with 1 win, 4 draw and 10 losses (2nd worst in league) just 1 lost in 6 though with 2 wins and 3 draws. Out for Stoke are key men Huth, Ireland, Adam, Walters with Pieters and Assaidi doubts.
Stoke’s woeful away record coupled with their mounting injury list mean Villa must be backed here. Both sides have shown improvement but Stoke simply do not perform away from The Brittania stadium. Huge injury problems too mean most of their better players sit out.
