Aston Villa has been in fine Premier League form even if Star man Christian Benteke has been out. He could return here though. N’Zogbia, Gary Gardner and Jones Okore are the only players out at the minute for Villa. These are players Lambert can replace with the squad he’s got at his disposal.

Tottenham shockingly lost 3-0 at home to West Ham last Premier League match day. Is that the beginning of a run of poor form? Or, will AVB manage to rediscover form here? Moussa Dembele is a doubt. Aaron Lennon is back in training and could get some minutes here. Younes Kaboul and Etienne Capoue are both not likely to be fit enough for participation.

When the sides met in the League Cup in September it ended 0-4. Last season in the Premier League Spurs also won this game 4-0, while winning the reverse fixture 2-0. In other words, it looks like AVB has Paul Lambert figured out!
