ASTON VILLA V WEST HAM UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Aston Villa are 19^th in the EPL with 21 points from 25 matches.  They have had a very poor season by their standards so far and are in real trouble of going down.  They are 2 points behind Reading in 17^th place and safety and really need to start winning games.  Their last 5 matches have seen 3 draws and 2 defeats which just isn’t good enough if they want to survive.

West Ham are in 11^th place in the table with 30 points from 25 games.  They are 9 points clear of the relegation zone and should easily achieve their goal of staying up at the first attempt after coming up from the Championship last season.  They were struggling for form lately with 3 defeats in 4 games but a win last week at home to Swansea relieved some of the pressure.

Villa have struggled a lot with injuries this season and will still be missing a number of players for this match.  Bennett, Herd, Albrighton, Gardner, Dunne and Petrov will all definitely miss the game but Fabian Delph is expected to be fit in time.

West Ham have their own injuries with Demel, Potts, Collins and McCartney out but they will feel their squad can cope.
