Burnley have not been at the races in both opening games this season. A heavy 3-1 loss at home to Chelsea was followed up by a 1-0 away loss to Swansea. Burnley look out of their depth to me and a relegation fight is assured.  Midfeild pair David Jones and Dean Marney are doubts but both should start – while Sam Vokes is out for sure. Man United have yet to win with a home loss to Swansea and an away draw at Sunderland showing obvious problems. New continental formations are confusing the players and it will take a while for Van Gaal to get his ideas across. However any side with Rooney and Van Persie amongst the other wealth of quality attackers should be grabbing wins soon enough. Here though new man Angel Di Maria will be given until the last minutes to prove his match fitness. A few worries for Van Gaal with Rojo, Herrera, Shaw, Lingard, Carrick all confirmed unavailable. Fellaini, Kagawa and Smalling all have knocks and will be assessed.

A lot of players doubtful and confirmed out for United. However they have a very deep squad and do have quality still. They can field a full compliment of attackers. They will not be pressured by Burnley I think. Even the shakey United of the 1^st few games should be able to slot a few here.
