Chelsea - Leicester betting tips

Chelsea played Liverpool in Istanbul in midweek. A game that went to the wire, as the Blues lost on penalties in a game where they performed much better as a unit than against United at Old Trafford last weekend. Leicester has had a full week to focus on this tie. No known new injury concerns on both sides going into this tie.

For me, it is obvious Chelsea are favorites for this tie. Under Lampard we will see a fairly balanced approach, but still slightly more on the front foot. I would be surprised if Chelsea does not take the game to Leicester. At the same time Brendan Rodgers has a top half of the table-squad to combat with. Turnovers can be a very dangerous weapon here. Chelsea struggled with that both against United, and Liverpool when they reached their peak finally. Offensively they are really strong, and Leicester probably still will need some time to settle after losing Maguire to United. All in all, it looks like a game that could have goals in it. I find 1.91 adequate odds to test this theory. Good Luck!

Chelsea may have lost Hazard and Luis. In Istanbul however they did show what they can do when fired up. Frank Lampard surely is going to make sure his squad has the right mentality when they run onto the green grass of Stamford Bridge. Leicester surely can give Chelsea a fight for the three points, but I see few scenarios where Brendan Rodgers really can pull a rabitt out of his hat. Should Leicester sit very deep and welcome pressure, the home side is more than capable to capitalize over 90 minutes of premier league football. Should Leicester go for the juggular, I think Chelsea, player by player is better equipped to win a shoot out. Especially at home. 1.75 is available for the home win. I went for the totals market for my main betting tip. But, I will be watching the match live, and considering a live bet on the home side should the match play out according to plan.
