CHELSEA v STOKE: TOTAL GOALS BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Difficult week for Chelsea with disappointing results both home and abroad.  2 poor performances away from home at Palace and then PSG mean Chelsea are looking at another potless season. They are currently in 2nd position with a 2 point deficit to make up on Liverpool. However the main danger is Man City who are 2 points behind them with two extra games to play. Home form has not been a problem for Chelsea though who have won 14 and drew 2 of 16 games. Recent form has stuttered with 4 wins and 2 defeats. Centre forward is a major problem for them and they will look to get rid of Eto’o, Torres and Ba next season for sure. Out for them here will be Cole, Ramires and Eto’o.   Stoke have been in great form of late and have surged away from the drop zone. They have moved up to 10^th in the table thanks to 4 wins from the last 6 matches. Away form is still a major problem for them though with only 2 wins in 16 away matches (only Cardiff in whole league have won less) Out for Stoke here will be Huth and Assaidi.

Under 2,5 goals may not seem an obvious choice here but I think Stoke will really push Chelsea hard here. Mourinho knows wins are all that matters at this stage and will be keen to grab a win here without expending too much energy given they must overcome a 3-1 PSG lead in the midweek Champions League 2^nd leg. So a low scoring win for me looks  a great bet. Last 10 games has seen 27 games for a average of 2.70 goals a game but this is skewered slightly by a 6-0 win for Chelsea against a 10 man Arsenal. Under 2.5 goals paid out on 6 of the 10 occasions and is the value bet for me.
