CHELSEA v TOTTENHAM:1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Huge London derby what could have a massive impact on more than the teams playing here. Chelsea can go 7 points clear with a win here. They are top of the pile now with a record of 19 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats. Home form is as usual solid with 12 wins and 2 draws from 14. The cup loss to Man City is the only defeat since mid December.  Cole and Van Ginkel miss out while Mikel, Hazard and Luiz may miss out too. Spurs come to Stamford Bridge desperate to cling on to hopes of 4^th. At present they are in 5^th with 16 wins, 5 draws and 7 losses. They have played 2 games more than City though so are chasing Arsenal really who are 6 points above them. A loss here may be too big a gap to manage. Out for Spurs are Eriksen, Capoue, Chiriches, Kaboul, Rose and Lamela.

Some teams have bogey sides and bogey grounds where they just cannot do anything to win. One such side is Chelsea at home to Spurs. The Chelsea have the knack of beating their London rivals over and over again. The current record stands at 24 games with 15 wins and 9 draws dating all the way back to 1990! –Jose Mourinho likes his home records and I take Chelsea to move further ahead, I don’t think Tim Sherwood has the ability to take on the master in Mourinho and an efficient Chelsea win for me here. Low scoring and to nil look the ones to concentrate on with a key match with Galatasaray coming up.
