Tasty London derby at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace host Chelsea. The New Year brings both teams at the wrong end of the table to what you would expect. Palace are flying high in 7^th with 31 points from 19 games. Home form for them reads 4 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats. Recent run of form shows an unbeaten run of 6 games with 3 wins and 3 draws. Defence has been key for them recently with just 3 goals conceded in those 6 matches. Out for them here will be Yohan Cabaye, striker Connor Wickham and midfielder Yannick Bolasie. Patrick Bamford would be ineligible but he left the club anyway to return to Chelsea. The visitors are down in 16^th and are still just 3 points off the drop zone after 19 games. Away form is dismal with 1 win in 9 games, 3 draws and 5 defeats make up their road form. Recently they have 1 win, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Out for them here is Falcao, Costa is back from suspension and Gary Cahill is carrying a slight knock but is ok.

Very close game for me this one. The low goals is a major player here as Palace tend to kill games and Chelsea are misfiring somewhat. I look to an alternative market here and look to half time draw. I expect a tight 1^st 45 mins and the 21-20 or 2.05 stalemate looks good. So far this season Palace have had 15 draws from 19 games at half time, with Chelsea on 10 from 19.
