LIVERPOOL – MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTION STATS
Liverpool are yet to win this season in the EPL after 4 matches; they have lost to WBA and Arsenal and drawn with Man City and Sunderland. They’ve conceded 8 goals and scored only 3.
Manchester United has won 3 straight games after a week 1 loss to Everton. They have scored 10 goals in those 3 games and conceded 4.
TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY
Liverpool are still without influential midfielder Lucas and will be relying on a very thin squad to get their first win of the season. The only changes that I feel will happen is Sahin coming back into midfield to replace Shelvey and Enrique returning to left back, dropping Kelly from the team. This would be the same side that started at home to Arsenal however and that didn’t go well, ending in a 2-0 defeat. There are no other options for Bredndan Rodgers and he will have to hope his side can find form from somewhere.
United have not been at their best this season either but have the quality going forward to still find wins when they are playing badly. I expect large changes from their match against Wigan with Van Persie and Kagawa the two furthest forward players as they were in the Champions League match against Galatasaray. Rio Ferdinand should start at centre back after being rested for that game
