A Sunday Premier League Preview for the match between Stoke and Arsenal.  Both teams started off their EPL campaigns with draws that they feel could and should have been wins.  Arsenal completely dominated their game at home to Sunderland, finishing the game with 70% possession and having 17 shots compared to Sunderland’s 5.

Stoke played newly promoted Reading in their first game took an early lead though Michael Kightly.  They looked to be heading for all 3 points before conceding a last minute penalty kick which was finished by Adam Le Fondre to give Reading a share of the points.

Arsenal will be hoping that new signings Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski will be good enough replacements for the loss of Van Persie and Song.  On the first weeks evidence only Cazorla would receive pass marks but it is too early to judge and the strikers will be given plenty of opportunity to impress.

Total Goals

Over 2.5 goals is priced at 2.13 with the under at 1.83.  This is unusual for an Arsenal match against a weaker ranked side.  If you look at their last 15 league matches against a non top 6 team you see only 4 of them finished with under 2.5 goals.
