TOTTENHAM – QPR PREDICTION STATS

Spurs won their first match of the season last week after going 3 games without a win. They sit 10^th in the table and will be keen to not lose too much ground to their rivals. They have scored 6 goals in 4 games and conceded 5.

QPR are yet to win in the EPL this season and have just 2 points from 4 matches. They will gain confidence after holding Chelsea to a draw last week, which were their first dropped points of the season. QPR must start winning soon if they are going to pull away from the relegation fight.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Spurs are without two of their first choice back 4 with Assou-Ekotto and Kaboul out injured. Kyle Naughton will probably fill in at left back and they have plenty of cover for centre back with Gallas and Dawson fine to partner Vertonghen.

QPR are without Andy Johnson who had started the last two games up front alongside Bobby Zamora. Cisse will step in to cover and is a more than adequate replacement.

Spurs are finally beginning to find their feet under new boss Andre Villas-Boas and played really well in their last game against Reading. Once players like Dembele, Sigurdsson and Dempsey find their place in the team they will get even stronger.

Tottenham are strong favourites for this and I can’t see anything but a home win. 1.5 is the top price with Coral and I’ll be backing it there.
