Tottenham take on West Brom at White Hart Lane in this Premier League preview. West Brom had one of the best results in week one the EPL when they despatched Liverpool 3-0 at home. The win was unexpected but shows the quality of squad that is available to Steve Clarke the West Brom manager.
Tottenham faced a tough away fixture at Newcastle where they lost 2-1, Spurs enjoyed their fair share of the play and deserved a draw from the game but a late penalty gave Newcastle the win. Since that game Spurs have been active in the transfer market, eventually signing Emmanuel Adebayor on a 4 year deal from Man City.
