Everton (10-8-2) continue to challenge for a Champions league place, and the last six league games have seen three wins, two draws and one loss. Home form is especially strong, with just one defeat in all of the last calendar year, and they will hope to start 2014 in similar vein. Norwich (5-5-10) are in a relegation scrap, and come here on a six match winless streak. Some heavy away defeats suggest they could be seen as a soft touch by the bigger sides, and they need to change this theory fast. Jagielka and Distin(def) remain doubtful for Everton, while Gibson,Deulofeu(mid) and Kone(str) are definite misses. Midfielders Pilkington, Hoolahan and Tettey are certainly out for Norwich, with doubts over Turner(def).
