Everton is 5-3-1 in the Premier League so far and has improved under the guidance of Martinez. They go into this tie with back to back wins. Everton has actually won the last three meetings with Tottenham at home and managed two draws in the las three away to them. This could be another big afternoon for the Goodison Park faithful agains Spurs.

Tottenham is 6-1-2 so far in the Premier League, and definitely in OK position to fight for the League title this year. Spurs has scored only nine goals so far this season though, that is a bit worrisome going up an Everton side that knows how to defend, but also has scored fourteen goals in their nine games so far.

Everton will miss Arouna Kone (Striker) and Darron Gibson (Midfielder) is still out for quite some time. Antolin Alcaraz (Central Defender) is slowly getting match fit, but this game is likely to be one more he sits out.

Tottenham will still miss Danny Rose (Full back). Another full back, Kyle Naughton is a doubt. Nacer Chadli (Left midfielder) is also still out. In-form Andros Townsend (Right sided attacking midfielder) is said to be fit after being a doubt.
