Hull v Cardiff predictions & betting tips
Hull is 1-0-2 so far. Their losses have come against Man City and Chelsea though, so the jury is still out on their start to the season. To me they have looked solid defensively as you would expect from a Steve Bruce side. Up front it is a wee bit thin. Midfielder Yannick Sagbo is suspended. Experienced defender Abdoulaye Faye is still out too. Last year when the sides met in the Championship it ended 2-2!
Cardiff is 1-1-1 so far. They took the scalp of Man City at home, and they also held Everton to 0-0 (perhaps a bit lucky) in Wales. Away from home so far they’ve lost to West ham. Again, I think we deal with a side that will be tough to break down, and Cardiff looks really drilled when it comes to set pieces. Steven Caulker (Defender) is injured. New boy Odemwingie, signed from WBA could make his start here.
Hull v Cardiff betting tips
This should be a very close and intense game. Both sides have strengthened since being promoted last season and they seem competitive to me. In this type of game I am very tempted by two betting markets at Ladbrokes. The first is Cardiff draw no bet at 2.21 (121/100). The other is the draw at 3.30 (23/10). Out of those two I think Cardiff draw no bet is the best option. They have much more to offer going forward than Hull in my opinion.
