Liverpool showed they have not got the class to compete at the very top with a lightweight performance to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa at home last time out. Out for Liverpool are Enrique, Leiva, Johnson, Agger – while Sakho is a doubt. Flanagan and Kelly are both back to full fitness and available; Everton continue to improve and impress. A comfortable 4-0 cup win over Stevenage though was marred by an horrific leg break to defender Brian Oviedo. Everton sit in 6^th position just 1 point behind Liverpool. Overall form reads 11 wins, 9 draws and 2 defeats. Away from Goodison they have 4 wins, 6 draws and 1 defeat. Everton are with Gibson, Alcaraz, Barkley, Kone and Delefue. Doubts over Pienaar and Coleman too. Coleman is a huge loss if absent as he has been the equal of Baines this season which is a massive compliment.
