LIVERPOOL V NORWICH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Liverpool are 8^th in the EPL with 31 points from 22 matches.  They have won 8, drawn 7 and lost 7 while scoring 35 goals and conceding 28.  Their recent form has seen 3 wins and 2 defeats in their last 5 matches, with an aggregate score of 12-5.  All 5 matches have finished with over 2.5 goals.

Norwich are 12^th in the table with 26 points from 22 matches, winning 6, drawing 8 and losing 8.  They have scored 24 goals while conceding 34 for a total goal difference of -10. Their recent form has seen 1 draw and 4 defeats in their last 5 matches with an aggregate score of 5-9.  3 of the 5 games ended with over 2.5 goals.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Liverpool are coming off a tough loss at rivals Manchester United last week.  They were dominated in the first half but some second half changes form manager Brendan Rodgers seen Liverpool come back into the game and after pulling one goal back looked the most likely to score next. 

Injury wise Liverpool are only missing Jose Enrique and Martin Kelly from their first team squad so I’d expect Andre Wisdom to start at right back again.  Lucas and Daniel Sturridge are still getting back to full fitness so the team should improve when they are at full speed.

Norwich should welcome back Howson and Surman in time for the match but they may still not be fully fit.  Whittaker, Ruddy and Morison will definitely miss the game though as expected.  It is hugely important for Norwich that they stop this poor run which has now stretched 5 games.  Before that they were one of the most in form teams in the league with 10 games without a defeat but something has caused a drastic drop in form and manager Chris Hughton must find out what.

Liverpool had one of their best performances of the reason in the first fixture between these sides this season.  A Luis Suarez hattrick helped Liverpool to an excellent 5-2 win and strangely enough it came after a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.

LIVERPOOL V NORWICH PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Liverpool are big favourites here as the home side and their home form has been great recently.  They have won 4 of their last 5 and have only conceded in one match, their two most recent games being a 4-0 win over Fulham and a 3-0 win over Sunderland. 

I can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win here and will be backing them at 1.33 with Stan James.
