MANCHESTER CITY – TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Game of the week in Manchester as City host Tottenham in a mouthwatering fixture. Man City have been a bit hit and  miss this season. They sit in 9^th with 6 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats, having scored the most goals in the league with 28 netted in 11 games.  Recent form is ok with 6 wins and 2 defeats. At home lately they have won four of the last five and scored 20 in the process! Kompany, Silva and Jovetic out while Pantillimo will keep his place between the sticks. Spurs have hit a rocky patch and have only managed 1 win in four after a fine start to the season. They still sit in 7^th so its not all doom and gloom. Six wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats is the record, but goals have been absent from all Tottenham games with just 9 scored and 6 conceded. Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose sit out for Spurs.

This is the Classic clash of Rock against Irrestible force; Tottenham are rock solid and seem to be so compact they tend to stifle the hell out of teams. Average goals per game of just 1.36 which is amazing and a stat not seen in the English Prem for a long time. Just 1 of their 11 games has gone over 2.5. Contrast this with a rampant City side who top the averages at 3.64 goals per game. Top scorers in the league and only 3 of their 11 games have gone under. For me in a game of this magnitude Spurs will shut up shop completely and AVB will surely go for the 0-0 or to nick a goal. City will have the lions share of the play but I don’t think they can go over 2.5 against this Spurs backline.
