Man Utd (10-4-5) have won six in a row in all competitions since back to back home defeats, and are getting themselves back into contention in the EPL. They have rediscovered the art of getting results when not playing particularly well, which has made them Champions so many times in the past. Tottenham (10-4-5) have enjoyed two wins and a draw since Sherwood was appointed manager, and look to be playing with more confidence. The return of Eriksen(mid) from injury has also helped, and they have the same points tally as Man Utd. Both sides are just three points from the Champions league placings, not bad considering the supposedly poor campaigns both have had up to this point. Tottenham won at Old Trafford last season, but the previous six league games here resulted in a Man Utd win. Rooney and Van Persie are doubts for Man U, with Fellaini, Nani(mid) and Jones out. Spurs are without Paulinho, Townsend(mid), Vertonghen and Kaboul(def) with Defoe doubtful.
