MANCHESTER UNITED V NORWICH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Manchester United are clear at the top of the EPL with 68 points from 27 matches which gives them a 12 point lead over rivals Manchester City.  They have been in great form lately with 4 straight wins, conceding just 1 goal in the process.  They have a very important midweek game against Real Madrid just 3 days after this match so I would not be surprised to see a number of players rested for that match.  Robin van Persie won’t be risked after his hip injury against QPR and Vidic will sit the game out to manage his knee injury.

Norwich are 12^th in the table with 32 points from 27 games which leaves them 8 points clear of relegation.  They were on a horrible run of no wins in 9 matches but pulled out a shock comeback against Everton last week to get their first win in over 2 months.  That result will give them some confidence but getting a result at Old Trafford is a tough ask for any side.

As I mentioned above I expect United to rest some players ahead of the visit of Real Madrid but the players who will come in are still more than capable of dominating at this level.  The United squad is one of the deepest in the league and they will still fully expect a win with a second string 11.
