MANCHESTER UNITED V QPR PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Manchester United are 2^nd in the EPL with 27 points from 12 matches and are just 1 point off rivals Manchester City in top spot.  United has won 9 games this season and lost 3, they average 2.42 goals per game while conceding 1.42.  Apart from a shock defeat last week at Norwich their recent form had been strong and they have won 4 of their last 5. 

QPR are rooted at the bottom of the table on just 4 points after 12 matches, they are still winless this season and are falling away at the bottom of the table with already a 4 point gap to the 19^th place team.  They’ve picked up just 2 points in their last 5 matches and have scored 3 goals in that time while conceding 7.  Only one of their last 5 matches has gone over 2.5 goals.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Manchester United are still without their long term injured Vidic and Kagawa who could remain out of action for some time.  Nani will also miss out with a hamstring injury.  A few players have been nursing injuries over the past week but Rooney, De Gea and Evans are all expected to be fit. 

United had the chance to take a 2 point lead at the top of the table last week but couldn’t beat a determined Norwich side who fully deserved their 1-0 win.  With Carrick and Giggs starting in central midfield it felt like United lacked mobility and I’d expect Cleverley back in there this week.

QPR are desperate to turn things around and it doesn’t seem like any of the amazing 11 new signing they made in the summer are up for the relegation fight.  Manager Mark Hughes is hanging on by a thread and will be willing to try anything to change the fortune of his team.  There isn’t much he can do in an away tie at Old Trafford but he’ll expect some fight from his players at least.

MANCHESTER UNITED V QPR PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

United are obviously huge favourites for this one and I can’t see QPR causing an upset.

A United win is all I can foresee and will back it with Coral at 1.22.

I’m going to look at the over/under 3.5 goal market for this since the expected goals are so high.  I’ll be backing Over 3.5 Goals with 188bet at 2.08.
