MANCHESTER UNITED - SWANSEA PREDICTIONS

Manchester United’s last ever Premiership home tie will be against Swansea. The Old Trafford faithfull will be out in force to give him the send-off he deserves.

Manchester United steamrollered the league this year, and most of the credit must go to outgoing legend Sir Alex Ferguson. With a side inferior to both neighbours City and Chelsea it did not matter at the wily old Scotsman moulded a side to take on the league and he done it with ease in the end. They had the most wins, least defeats and scored the most goals. The signing of Robin Van Persie was inspired as the Dutchman was the difference for me. Full back Rafael is the only missing man but all eyes will be on Wayne Rooney who allegedly handed a transfer request in over the last fortnight.

Swansea have had a good season but are in danger of letting it all slide at the end. The midweek win over Wigan halted a run of seven games without a win (3 draws and 4 defeats) They have had a tough run of games though and coupled with an injury to star man Michu its been understandable. Its been a long season for The Swans who may still finish 8^th and do have a Capital One cup to show for it and a return to European football. Out for sure is keeper Michael Vorm and Angel Rangel, A surprise return is mooted for Michu who has responded well to treatment while Chico Flores is also available.
