MANCHESTER UNITED V WBA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

United had one of the games of the season on boxing day when they came from behind 3 times to beat Newcastle 4-3 in injury time.  This epitomises United this season, frail defensively and prone to mistakes but so good going forward that they can outscore almost every team. 

In the tough games in the Champions League they won’t be able to knock 4 goals past the best teams so they need to sort out the defensive problems and they will hope the return of Vidic (who was on the bench for the Newcastle match) will sort that out.

WBA are still flying in the league are are even on points with 4^th placed Tottenham.  A Champions League spot will probably be too much to ask of this side but a solid top 8 finish is definitely on the cards.

United are obviously big favourites here as they are for almost all games.  They have won their last 5 at home and scored 13 goals in the process but they have also conceded in 4 of those 5 matches which shows they are not invincible.

I think the United price is just too short and although I feel they will win I will have a small value play on the upset.  Back a WBA win at 11.0 with Stan James.
