NEWCASTLE UNITED – MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Newcastle have a problem at the back with first choice keeper Tim Krul, along with defenders Steven and Ryan Taylor all out injured.  Fabricio Coloccini has regained fitness following a hamstring injury however which eases the burden a little, if he wasn’t to make it then I’d fear for Newcastle against Man Utd’s excellent attacking line-up.  Newcastle will be relying on their excellent attacking due of Ba and Cisse to fire them out of trouble again in this, Ba has 6 league goals in 6 matches.

Man Utd have their own injury crisis with Vidic, Smalling and Jones all out injured.  This leaves Jonny Evans and Rio Ferdinand as their own senior centre backs.  The quality United possess going forward with Kagawa, Rooney and van Persie all looking for a start makes them a force even with a depleted defence.

Despite being the away team, Manchester United are strong favourites for this match.  They have not been at their best this year but have still managed to get the wins in the majority of their matches.

I feel the 1.95 on offer with William Hill is a good price for a top team and will be backing a Manchester United win.
