NEWCASTLE UNITED V STOKE CITY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Newcastle are 15^th in the Premier League with 30 points from 28 matches which leaves them 6 points ahead of the relegation zone.  They are on a decent run of form with 3 wins over their last 5 matches but need to continue to gain points if they want to get further ahead of the relegation fight.

Stoke are 11^th in the table with 33 points from 28 matches but have struggled recently with just 1 win in their last 9 matches.  Their away record is even worse with 4 straight defeats and just 1 goal scored over that time.  The fans are beginning to get restless and you can see why but the points gained earlier in the season will see that Stoke don’t get dragged into a relegation fight.

Newcastle are still nursing a long injury list with Coloccini, Harper, Krul, Taylor and Vuckic all missing.  Their squad has been much improved with their January signings but missing a number of first choice players would hurt any side.

Stoke meanwhile have a clean injury list but will be missing Robert Huth who is still suspended.

Newcastle are much improved over the past month after their new singings at the end of the transfer window and some first team players getting back to fitness.  They are undefeated at home since the 1^st of February with two EPL wins and a Europa League draw.  Stoke as mentioned have lost 4 in a row away from home and are struggling for form.
