Vital game in the bottom half of the table as Bournemouth travel far North to play Newcastle. The home side really need some results now and the locals are not happy with Coach Steve McLaren. They are joint 2^nd bottom with 24 points, level with Sunderland and Norwich. Home form reads 4 wins, 5 draws and 4 losses. They are not in great form with 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. They are without Mbabu, Coloccini, Haidara, Mbemba, Obertan and Krul. Bournemouth had a great win midweek as they downed Southampton 2-0. They are now in 15^th with 32 points and have an 8 point gap over relegation zone. Away form for them reads 4 wins, 4 draws and 6 losses. They have doubts over Stanislas, King and Arter for this one. Max Gradel completed most of the midweek game and will be tested again here.

Newcastle are really poor at the moment and McLaren is on borrowed time for me. Hes proving pretty inept which is surprising as he is an ex England coach and a Eredivisie winner. Bournemouth are going great guns at the moment and are creeping towards that magical 40 point mark and almost certain survival. For me I take the both score, Newcastle are a better side at home and Bournemouth would take the point I feel. Both have capable attackers and are not overly solid defensively.
