Newcastle v Chelsea 1x2 predictions & tips
Newcastle lost 2-1 in the Premier League derby against Sunderland, but is 4-2-1 at home. They have good player material available, and one can’t but feel this Newcastle edition is underperforming at the minute.
Chelsea is 1-2-1 away from the Bridge so far in the Premier League, but they’ve really found form as of late. Chelsea has now won six in a row in all competitions. They’ve scored two or more in every of those six matches too.
Team News
Newcastle: Coloccini and Taylor, the regular central defense pairing is still out. Williamson and Yanga-Mbiwa are expected to play in their place. Left Back Paul Dummett has done well lately, but he will also be missing here. Young Massadio Haidara is match fit again, but unlikely to play here. Chelsea has no new injury worries.
Betting Tips
Newcastle has players who can rise to the occasion, but with Chelsea finding form in the final third of the pitch I think Newcastle will have big problems here given that they are without both their best central defenders.
