Recent form is mixed though with 3 wins and 3 losses. Out here for Toon are several big men in pretty much all key positions. Keeper Krul, defenders Debuchy and midfielder Sissoko. Striker Remy is missing too with backup forward Sammy Ameobi. Man Utd pulled a result and a performance out the bag to hold current world number 1 Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. They will travel to Germany still in the tie but not many give them hope. They won last week too with a comfortable 4-0 win over Aston Villa without leaving 1^st gear. Juan Mata opened his account and will return to the side as he is unable to play in Europe. United are improving gradually and have won 4 of the last 6 league games. They sit in 7^th position and are now 2 points behind Spurs in the race for 6^th. Away form surprisingly is the best in the division with 9 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats and I do agree that Moyes United are best suited to having the pressure off in away games. Out here for United will be Van Persie with Giggs a doubt.

I just don’t see Newcastle troubling United here at all. Very generous odds on the ‘win to nil’ market and I can see a low key victory for the Red Devils. They will want to win as it eases the pressure on Moyes but a game against Bayern in midweek is ultra important too.
