NEWCASTLE v SOUTHAMPTON : 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Newcastle in superb form at the moment.  Winning 5 of the last 6 matches, turning over Tottenham and Man Utd in that run. Bar a slip up in Wales in which they never turned up and lost 3-0 they have been immaculate. Coach Pardew has come in for some stick over the last few months but he has to be given credit here. Overall form reads 8 wins, 2draws and 5 defeats and Newcastle sit in 7^th position. Out for Toon is key midfielder Yohan Cabaye and he is a major loss. Southampton’s poor run of form continues. They now move onto four games without a win (1 draw and 3 losses) The side has been hit by injuries and the lack of depth to the squad is showing. Southampton sit 3 points behind Newcastle in 8^th and have generally been excellent. The injury to keeper Boruc is key as he is a brilliant keeper. Out to are Schneiderlin and Wanyama. Nathanial Clyne is expected to return and that is a boost.

A home win looks good to me and the recent form backs me up. Southampton are struggling at the moment. They were always in trouble the second they lost key men and this has proven to be the case. Newcastle have looked really good, well drilled and tactically sound. With a deep squad and some underated quality they can be aiming for the top 7 this season.
