Newcastle sit in 5^th position above more illustrious rivals such as Man Utd and Spurs. Toon have an overall record of 9 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats. Home form is solid with 4 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat. Recent form is great also with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Out for Newcastle is Tiote who is only missing man. Stoke have improved their position as they are on a 4 game unbeaten league run. The team seems to be playing better football but still has the long ball available to them with their big units up front. Stoke sit in 10^th with 5 wins, 6 draws and 6 defeats. Away form isn’t great however with just 1 win in 8 games! (2 draws and 5 losses) – Out for Stoke is Huth with Etherington unlikely to feature.

Newcastle have been backed considerably from the weekend and are my selection for the win market. I think they can win without conceding too as Stoke are weak on the road. Odds have been slashed on the win to nil market but Paddypower are slow to cut and we take the bet with them.
