Norwich v Everton predictions and betting tips

Norwich ended 19 points behind Everton in the Premier League last season. Most pundits think it will be a lot closer this year. Allthough they haven’t gotten particularly good preseason results the club has indeed brought in some very good players this transfer window. The Dutch duo: Wolfswinkel (Striker) and Fer (Midfielder) has come in. So has the promising young striker Hooper of Celtic. With Wolfswinkel and Hooper on the books the loss of Holt to Wigan should be easy to bare. England U21 midfielder Nathan Redmond, Swedsh defender Martin Olsson has also gone to the Canaries.

For Norwich, two new boys will sit out. Fer will be out due to suspension while Hooper is injured. It does weaken Norwich a bit, but not enough for me to change the analysis in this prediction.

Everton has had much tougher opposition in their training matches. That could work to their advantage here. In terms of transfers: Kone (Striker) , Robels (Goalie)and Alcaraz (Defender) has joined Martinez from Wigan. Highly rated 19 year old Deulofeu of Barcelona has joined on loan. The club will struggle to retain the likes of Fellaini and left back sensation Baines with Man Utd said to be circling the pair.

Everton looks set to miss influential central midfielder Darren Gibson. He hasn't fully recovered from a knock he took in a recent friendly. Aforementioned Antolin Alcaraz sits out. Bits and part players Tony Hibbert (Central Defender) and Magaye Gueye (Attacking Midfielder) is missing too.

Norwich vs Everton: Run of Play

Since and including 2012 the sides have met twice at Carrow Road. First time around it ended 2-2. Last season Norwich won 2-1 after a very late comeback. Everton definitely had deserved more looking a threat earlier on in the game. Martinez has taken over a tad more physical squad in Everton. Here he comes up against a Norwich side that will try to impose themselves even more physically on the game. I think it will be a tight thriller with lots of duels, but also some feisty fine football. Norwich looks improved to me, and I think they’re ready to take the game to Everton.

Norwich – Everton predictions and betting tips: 1x2

Norwich is the favorite here in my opinion. The team has built well on last year. Everton has lost their strong man, David Moyes and all tough Martinez is a great coach, uncertainty looms. 3.10 (21/10) for the home win is several notches to high in my humble opinion! The betting tip is Norwich to win. If you agree you can sprint to Bet365 and take the bet by clicking here.

Norwich v Everton predictions and betting tips: Asian Handicap

I like the 1x2 odds very much, but I prefer the Norwich draw no bet option. It reduces swings in the bankroll and the lower odds is more than justified as we get our money back in case the game ends a draw. My Asian Handicap betting tip for this game is Norwich, DNB priced at 2.25 (5/4). Head to Bet365 by clicking here.
