NORWICH - SOUTHAMPTON: PREDICTIONS

Two of the lesser lights of the Premiership meet at Carrow Road. After a few seasons of consolidation both sides have splashed the cash and brought in some quality names.

Norwich have not had the best of starts to the season, at least not in the league.. After opening the season up with a decent 2-2 home draw with Everton they were not in the game 2^nd time out and tamely lost to Hull away. They did not create much in the 2^nd game and that has to be a worry for Chris Hughton. Striker Gary Hooper is still not deemed fit enough to start, while starting midfielder Elliot Bennett injured himself in the 6-3 midweek win over Bury. Starting defender Ryan Bennett is touch and go.

Southampton sit on four points after a win and a draw in their opening two Premiership games. The South Coast side added Italy international striker Osvaldo to their squad to show just how far the side has come in the last few years. A slight worry in this game is how serious manager Mauricio Pochettino takes this competition.  Morgan Schneiderlin should be over his fitness problems while Luke Shaw is out for sure. A virus has been in the Southampton camp and so far has hit two of the men, Guly do Prado and Guis Hooivaid are both struggling. Always a worry when illness strikes as it tends to spread quickly in the close confines of training grounds.

NORWICH - SOUTHAMPTON: BETTING TIPS

Very close game this one between two sides trying to step up to the next level.  Both teams have looked ok in patches in both games but neither side has really hit top form. Although its only early in the season and new players are bedding in. In this match Im siding with Norwich, news of a virus in the Southampton camp doesn’t bode well and though only two players have been officially names as out it could affect others.
