QPR V ASTON VILLA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

QPR are hoping the change in management will help them avoid relegation this year.  Harry Redknapp has been brought in and has experience of taking clubs from the relegation zone and surviving.  The squad has enough quality to gain points but they have been looking like a bunch of players who are more interested in the money rather than fighting for the club to stay up and Harry with his excellent man management should be able to change that.

Villa got an important win against Reading in midweek thanks to a late goal from striker Christian Benteke.  Benteke has been first choice striker for Villa recently ahead of record signing Darren Bent so there is a lot of pressure on the young Belgian to perform well for the team and he is doing well so far.  Villa are still well in the relegation fight at the moment and need a very strong December if they are to try and fight to a mid-table finish in the new year.

Despite being winless this year QPR are favourites here.  QPR’s first match with Redknapp in charge saw a 0-0 draw away at Sunderland, which was their first clean sheet in over 2 months.  Now he just needs to get them to start scoring goals.

I think Villa are slightly underrated by the market here, they have looked good recently with their draw against Arsenal and win against Reading and I think they’ll be confident of getting a result here.
