TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

This is a meeting between two teams who have really been struggling recently and need to turn things around soon.

Reading are 6 points adrift of safety and are odds on to go down at the first attempt after winning the Championship last year.  They may however strengthen the squad in January which could give them a big boost but they are in desperate need of points now or they will find the gap too big to bridge.

West Ham had an excellent start to the season which is the only reason they aren’t in relegation trouble after their recent poor run of form.  They are falling down the table quickly though and are only a few more losses away from getting into the fight near the bottom.
