Southampton have been dragged back to earth after a step up in class. They have not won in three games after a recent great run. They are in 4^th so its not all doom and gloom. Home form shows 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. The recent run inclused losses to Chelsea and Man City, plus a draw with Villa.  Southampton miss some key figures in Schneiderlin, Cork and Tadic while Alderwereild will likely miss out too. Man Utd have won their last 4 consecutive matches. Even with a spate of injuries it looks like Van Gaal’s influence has finally took hold. They are up to 5^th and are just a point below todays hosts. Away form reads 1 win, 3 draws and 2 defeats – not a great return. Out for Utd here will be Di Maria, Blind, Shaw, Rafael, Jones and Lingard. A lot of key men but they do have some squad depth.

Huge game for both sides and both managers. The feud between Van Gaal and Koeman shows no sign of abating and this is an interesting side note.  Man Utd have a full compliment of strikers and fully fit ones at that. I think Southampton will not be able to cope with the missing men and think united are a good selection at draw no bet.
